Manage your Atoms profile, interface language, and default account behavior from Account settings.

Most Account settings apply to you as an individual, but the Preferences available to you can depend on your workspace role and plan. To manage a team, shared credits, billing, or integrations, use Workspace settings instead.

Open Account settings

  1. Open Atoms.
  2. Select your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Under Account, choose Your account to manage your language and profile, or Preferences to manage default account behavior.

Some preferences depend on your workspace role, plan, or available features. If a control is missing or unavailable, check its availability note below. If you do not have the required role, ask the workspace owner or an administrator to change the setting or grant only the access you need. Atoms shows any upgrade requirement that applies.

Manage your language and profile

Open Settings → Your account.

Your account: highlighted navigation and profile controls.

Change the interface language

  1. Find Language.
  2. Open the language menu.
  3. Choose the language you want to use.

This changes the language used by the Atoms interface. The languages available in the menu may change as localization support expands.

Open your public profile

Under Profile, select Open profile on Atoms.dev/@username.

Your public profile opens in a new page. Review it after changing your username or profile picture to confirm that it appears as expected.

Change your profile picture

  1. Find Profile Picture.
  2. Select your current avatar.
  3. Choose one PNG or JPEG image no larger than 2 MB from your device.
  4. Complete the upload shown by Atoms.

For the clearest result, use a square image with the subject centered.

Change your username

  1. Find Username.
  2. Select the edit icon beside your current username.
  3. Enter a username between 3 and 35 characters using only letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens.
  4. Make sure the username has no spaces at the beginning or end.
  5. Select Save.

If Atoms does not accept the username, review the validation message and try another value.

View your account email

Your registered address appears under Email Address.

The reviewed Account settings page shows this address without an edit action. If the address is incorrect or you can no longer access it, use Get Support. Never send a password, verification code, recovery code, or full payment details in a support request.

Set account preferences

Open Settings → Preferences.

Preferences: highlighted navigation and account-wide controls.

Preferences: highlighted navigation and account-wide controls.

Choose a default model

Availability: Only workspace administrators and owners can change Default Model. Use it to choose the AI model Atoms selects by default across your account.

The available models can change over time. Open the selector in Atoms for the current list. You can still choose another supported model when a project or workflow provides its own model control.

Set the default project access

Availability: Only the workspace owner can change Permissions. Use it to choose the default access level for projects.

Read the description shown under each option before selecting it. For example, a public option may allow anyone with the link to access the project and may make it eligible to appear in Discover.

Before sharing or publishing a project, always confirm its project-level access setting.

Show your remaining credits

Availability: Workspace editors, administrators, and owners can turn on Credit Balance Reminder to show remaining Atoms credits in the product.

This preference controls whether your remaining Atoms credits are visible in the product. For the distinction between build credits and published-app usage, see Credits & Usage. For current plan and billing controls, see Plans & Credits.

Choose when Atoms plays a completion sound

Under Generation Completed Sound, choose one option:

  • Applies to first build only
  • Applies to every build
  • Off

If you enable sound but do not hear it, check the sound and autoplay permissions for atoms.dev in your browser.

Receive domain-status emails

Availability: Workspace editors, administrators, and owners can turn on External Notifications to receive domain-status alerts by email.

These messages are sent to the email associated with your Atoms account. Use this preference when you want updates about domain configuration or availability outside the Atoms interface.

Manage disk space

The Disk Space preference can provide pay-as-you-go storage controls for eligible plans.

  • Turn on the pay-as-you-go option only after reviewing the pricing and billing information shown by Atoms.
  • Select Manage to review large projects and their storage use.

Availability depends on your plan. See Settings → Plans and credits for the storage included with your current plan.

Before enabling a paid storage option, confirm the account, displayed price, included storage, and charging terms. After saving, verify the setting once and review Plans and credits. If the status or charge is unclear, do not repeat the action; check billing history and use Get Support.

Set the default Atoms badge behavior

Availability: Workspace editors, administrators, and owners can use Remove Atoms™ Badge to set the default badge visibility for new projects.

This is an account-level default. Badge removal also requires an eligible paid plan, and individual projects may provide their own badge setting.

Troubleshooting

I cannot change my email address

The current Account settings page displays the registered email without an edit control. Contact Atoms Support if the address must be corrected or you have lost access to it.

My completion sound does not play

  1. Confirm that Generation Completed Sound is not set to Off.
  2. Check that the Atoms tab and your device are not muted.
  3. Allow sound or autoplay for atoms.dev in your browser settings.
  4. Run another generation that matches the option you selected.

I cannot use a storage or badge preference

First confirm your workspace role and current plan. Remove Atoms™ Badge requires editor-or-higher access and an eligible paid plan; Disk Space availability depends on your plan. If you lack the required role, ask the workspace owner or an administrator to change the setting or grant only the access you need. Otherwise, open Settings → Plans and credits and check the features included with your current plan.

A setting is missing or has an unexpected effect

  1. Confirm that you are signed in to the intended Atoms account.
  2. Compare the on-screen label and plan message with this article.
  3. If project access may have changed, do not share or publish until you confirm the project-level setting.
  4. Do not change more settings or switch plans as a workaround while the result is uncertain.

If the issue persists, stop further changes. Record the setting path, plan name shown in Atoms, exact time and time zone, browser, expected result, actual result, and exact error text. Hide email addresses and payment details in screenshots, and never send passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, API keys, or private keys. Use Get Support.

FAQ

I can't log in to my account. How do I fix this?
  1. Identify the sign-in option you originally used: email and password, Google, or another provider shown on your sign-in screen.
  2. Use the same method. Use password reset only for an email-and-password account, and confirm that the reset link is current.
  3. Test in an Incognito window and disable extensions that may block sign-in redirects.
  4. Record the exact error code and the point where sign-in fails.

If you no longer control the original email or identity-provider account, contact Support through the official channel and request account recovery. Provide the registered email and error details, but never send a password, one-time code, recovery code, or session token.

I'm getting permission errors. How do I restore access?
  1. Record the exact error and the action, project, or workspace where it appears.
  2. Confirm that you are signed in with the expected account and have opened the correct workspace and project.
  3. If another person owns the resource, ask a workspace or project administrator to verify your role and restore only the access you need.
  4. Check Plans & Credits or Cloud & AI only when the error explicitly identifies a plan, usage, or balance restriction. Do not buy credits for a generic permission error.
  5. Sign out and back in once after a role change, then retry the same action.

If access is still denied, contact Support with the exact error, resource URL, account and workspace, required action, time and timezone, and screenshot. Remove tokens and private project data.

How do I change the email address on my account?

Use the official in-app Support channel while signed in to the account you want to update.

  1. Provide the current account email and the new email address.
  2. If you control both addresses, complete the ownership confirmations Support requests from each address.
  3. If you cannot access the current email, say so at the start; Support may require a different identity-verification process.
  4. If you sign in through Google or another provider shown on your sign-in screen, confirm whether the requested change affects the provider identity or only the Atoms contact email.

Never send passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, or session tokens. Wait for completion confirmation, then verify that sign-in, subscription, and workspace access are linked to the intended account.

How do I delete my account?
  1. Export any projects, files, invoices, or records you need to keep.
  2. Cancel or downgrade any paid subscription and confirm the renewal status before requesting deletion.
  3. While signed in, open the official in-app Support channel and request permanent account deletion. Include the registered email and complete the identity-verification steps.
  4. Review the deletion scope, expected completion time, and any data that must be retained for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
  5. Wait for written confirmation that deletion is complete.

Deletion is intended to be irreversible after completion. Never send a password or one-time code. If you cannot sign in, use the official Support recovery path before requesting deletion.

My subscription email doesn't match. What should I do?
  1. Confirm the account and sign-in method currently shown in Atoms, then open Settings → Plans & Credits in the correct workspace.
  2. Compare that account with the email or account shown on the payment receipt.
  3. Do not purchase the plan again while the first payment is being located.
  4. Contact Support with the current account email, possible alternate email, Order ID, transaction date, amount and currency, and a redacted receipt.

Do not send a full card number, bank-account number, security code, password, or one-time code. Support should confirm which account owns the subscription and the safe correction path.
