Connect and Manage Integrations
Integrations connect Atoms to the tools and services you already use. Depending on the connector, Atoms can use external information while helping you build, add capabilities to your published app, or support both workflows.
Integrations connect Atoms to the tools and services you already use. Depending on the connector, Atoms can use external information while helping you build, add capabilities to your published app, or support both workflows.
Each connector supports its own actions and permissions. Review the capabilities and permission scope shown for the connected connector; an unconnected detail panel may show only its description and connection control.
Use the least-privileged account and permission scope that can complete the job. Do not paste passwords, access tokens, private keys, or unrelated sensitive data into a prompt. When a service contains production or customer data, test with a non-sensitive sample and verify the exact target before allowing a write.
The connectors and actions you see can vary by account and release. Open the Connector catalog in Atoms to view what is currently available to you.
Decide what the connection should do
Before connecting a service, decide where you need it.
Goal | Examples |
|---|---|
Give the Agent context while you build | Find files, summarize tasks, review issues, or use project data in a prompt |
Let the Agent take action in another service | Create a task, update a record, add spreadsheet data, or create a calendar event |
Add a service to the published app | Store application data, handle authentication, process payments, or run an app workflow |
Some connectors support more than one goal. Review the connector description and requested permissions before you connect it.
Connect an integration
Open Settings → Connectors to use the primary entry point. You can also select Connect your tools to Atoms from the dashboard.
Connecting or disconnecting an integration may require workspace-owner or authorized admin access. If you are not an owner or admin and a control is unavailable, ask the workspace owner or an authorized admin.
From the dashboard
- Open the Atoms dashboard.
- Select Connect your tools to Atoms.
- Choose the connector you want to use. Follow the connection control shown on that connector card.
- Use the control shown for that connector. If it opens a generic detail panel, select Connect; provider-specific integrations may open their own setup or authorization flow.
- Sign in to the external service if prompted.
- Review the account and permissions, then approve the connection.
- Return to Atoms and confirm that the connector shows as connected. In the Chat where you want to use it, open the connector picker and enable the connector for that Chat.
Use a connected integration
Tell the Agent which service to use and include enough detail to identify the correct item. Useful details include:
- The project, workspace, repository, folder, calendar, or spreadsheet name
- A task name, issue ID, file name, or record identifier
- A date range, due date, owner, status, or priority
- What you want Atoms to read, summarize, create, or update
For example:
- “Summarize high-priority Linear issues assigned to me.”
- “Find the launch brief in Drive and list the open decisions.”
- “Add these approved leads to the campaign spreadsheet.”
- “Create a calendar event for the design review next Tuesday at 3 PM.”
Atoms can only use actions supported by the connector and data available to the connected account. If the capability or action you need is not shown for that connector, stop and do not assume it is supported.
Review external changes before they run
When a connector and action support creating or updating external data, Atoms may show a confirmation before running it.
Review:
- The service and connected account
- The target file, spreadsheet, calendar, project, or record
- The information that will be created or changed
- Any date, time, recipient, or other important value
If Atoms shows a confirmation, review it and select Confirm to continue or cancel to leave the external service unchanged. Write availability depends on the connector and action; read-only connectors do not offer write actions.
After a write, verify the result in the external service before retrying. If the target or values are wrong, stop the workflow and use the provider’s own history, undo, or recovery tools when available. Disconnecting a connector stops future use; it does not reverse changes already made.
Manage a connection
Open the Connector catalog and select a connected service to review its current status.
From the connector detail panel, you may be able to:
- Check which account is connected
- Review the connector’s supported actions and permission scope
- Reconnect when authorization has expired
- Refresh or change access when the service supports it
- Disconnect the account from Atoms
Disconnecting in Atoms stops future use of the connection. Some services may also require you to revoke Atoms from the service’s own account or security settings.
Examples by use case
The table below is an editorial grouping by use case, not a set of catalog categories. Use the searchable catalog for the current list of available connectors.
Category | Common uses | Examples |
|---|---|---|
Development | Source control, repositories, issues, and delivery workflows | GitHub, Linear |
Backend and data | Databases, authentication, storage, and structured data | Supabase |
Payments | Checkout, billing, and payment workflows | Stripe |
Work management | Tasks, projects, owners, and due dates | Asana, Todoist |
Files and content | Search, read, and organize external files | Box, Dropbox |
Analytics and marketing | Traffic, search performance, campaigns, and reporting | Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads |
Connector availability changes over time. Use the catalog in Atoms for the current list and open a connector to review its exact capabilities.
