Use the project menu and Settings to manage an open Atoms project. This guide is for signed-in users with an open project. What you can see depends on your role, plan, project state, and whether the project has a usable version.

Current menu note. In the current Settings menu, Domains is listed under Project, and General is listed under Workspace. Project → General is not currently listed. If your workspace shows a Project General panel, select it to view the project overview; otherwise use the project-menu and settings-panel paths below.

Find the right control

1. Open the project in Atoms.
2. Select the project name in the top-left corner.
3. For Rename project or Remix this project, use the project name menu. For Unpublish or Delete on desktop, select Go to Dashboard from that menu, then use the project card’s action menu; on mobile, use the project menu when the action is shown.
4. For settings panels, select Settings. Under Project, select Domains; under Workspace, select General.

If Project → General is visible in your rollout, select it to view the project overview and its action area. If it is not visible, do not keep looking for a hidden General item; use the separate paths in this guide.

Review project details

When Project General is available, its Overview shows Project name, Status, Versions, and Created at. Its action area provides Rename project, Remix this project, Unpublish, and Delete. The values describe the project that is currently open.

Rename the project

1. Open the project name menu and select Rename project. You must have permission to rename the project.
2. Enter the new project name, then select Save. The name can contain spaces and special characters and is limited by the field shown in the dialog.

Expected result. A success message appears and the new name is shown in the project menu and project details.

If Rename is unavailable. Check that you are the project owner or otherwise have the required permission. Refresh the project and try again; if the action remains unavailable, contact your workspace administrator or Atoms support with the project name and the message shown.

Change the published URL subdomain

1. Open the project name menu, select Settings, and under Project select Domains.
2. On the live domain card, select Edit.
3. Enter a subdomain using lowercase letters, numbers, or hyphens. It must meet the displayed length limit and be available.
4. Check the preview with the domain suffix shown in the editor, then select Update.

Expected result. The Domains panel shows the updated live address. The suffix can vary by environment, so use the one displayed by Atoms rather than a fixed example.

If the value is rejected. Remove unsupported characters, meet the displayed length limit, or choose an available subdomain. If no live domain card or Edit action appears, publish or connect a domain first.

Remove the Atoms badge from published links

1. Open the project name menu, select Settings, and under Workspace select General.
2. Find Remove Atoms™ Badge and turn it on when the control is enabled.

This is a workspace-level setting for published links, not a per-project setting. It requires an eligible plan and editor-or-higher permission. If the toggle is disabled, ask a workspace editor or owner to make the change or review the plan shown in Plans and credits.

Expected result. Published links in the workspace no longer show the Atoms badge after the setting takes effect.

Remix a project

1. Open the project name menu and select Remix this project, or use the visible Remix action in Project General or the project card menu.
2. Confirm the current version and enter a name for the new project.
3. If Atoms shows Copy database data or Sync ads to the new project, review each option and select it only when you want that data or synchronization copied.
4. Select Remix to create the new project.

These optional choices appear only for eligible owned projects with the corresponding data or ads. When ad synchronization is selected, campaigns apply to the current domain; future changes require disconnecting the domain from the current project and connecting it to the new one.

Expected result. The new project opens and is available for continued editing. If Remix is disabled, check that a usable version exists and that you have permission to remix the project.

Unpublish a project

1. From the project list, open the project card’s action menu and select Unpublish. If Project General is visible, you can use its Unpublish action instead. The action is available only when the project is published and you have permission to manage it.
2. Review every link listed in the confirmation. Unpublishing makes those published links unavailable, stops social shares of the link from working, and still lets you publish a new link later.
3. Select Yes, I confirmed. Select Cancel to leave the project published.

Expected result. The listed links stop responding as published links, while the project remains in Atoms. If the action reports an error, check the listed links and project status before retrying. If any link is already unavailable or the error continues, do not repeat the action and contact Atoms support with the project name and error.

Delete a project

Deleting a project cannot be undone. Use File → Download to save anything you may need before you confirm.

1. From the project list, open the project card’s action menu and select Delete. On mobile, you can select Delete from the project menu. If Project General is visible, you can use its Delete action instead.
2. In Confirm deletion?, review the warning. The Project General flow provides only Delete and Cancel and keeps the internal project files; it does not offer Clean the disk or a file-retention selector.
3. Select Delete to finish, or Cancel to leave the project unchanged.

Expected result. The project is removed from your project list. Internal project files remain when deletion is confirmed from Project General. A separate project-list or mobile deletion flow may show file-retention choices; those choices do not belong to Project General.

If deletion is unavailable or its result is unclear. Check your permission and the project action menu. After a failed request, verify the project list before trying again so you do not repeat a destructive action. If the request still fails, contact your workspace administrator or Atoms support with the project name, time, and error.
