A disk-quota warning means your used space has exceeded its allowance. This is different from a single file being too large to upload, running out of Chat Credits, or having insufficient Cloud & AI Balance. Clearing your browser cache or your computer’s disk does not free up this project storage.

Open disk-space management

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Workspace in the sidebar, select Disk Space.

On the Disk Space page, Storage Overview shows your used space, total capacity, and project count. The project list appears under Manage projects.

Find what is taking up space

Check the Size column to identify projects using the most space. Use Search projects to find a project, the column arrows to sort the list, and Rows per page and the page controls to browse the results.

Column

What it shows

Project

The project name.

Size

The space used by the project.

Proportion

The project’s share of your total used disk space.

Files

The reported number of files in the project.

Last Modified

The reported date the project was last changed.

Action

An icon for opening the project.

A dash means the value is unavailable; it does not mean the item uses no space.

To inspect a project before deleting it, select the open-project icon in its Action column.

Before you delete anything

Only the Workspace Owner can delete projects from disk-space management. If your role does not allow deletion, ask your Workspace Owner to review the projects with you.

Deletion cannot be undone. Deleting a project permanently removes all its files, project chat/history, deployments, preview links, and related project settings. Save copies of anything you need first, and check whether anyone still relies on the project or its deployments.

Do not delete an item only because it is large or unfamiliar. Open the project and check what it is used for first.

Delete one or more projects

Use this workflow only for projects you no longer need. It deletes entire projects, not just selected files inside them.

  1. On the Disk Space page, find the projects you want to remove under Manage projects.
  2. Select Select projects.
  3. Select the checkbox beside each project you want to delete.
  4. Check the selected count, then select Delete.
  5. In Delete entire project?, review the warning and the list of data included in deletion.
  6. Select Continue to delete to proceed, or Cancel to stop.

This dialog does not offer an option to keep the project’s files. If you need to retain any of the listed data, select Cancel and save it before proceeding.

Before selecting Delete, check that only the intended projects are selected. Use Cancel in the project-selection toolbar to leave selection mode without deleting projects.

Review options for more capacity

If you need to keep the projects and files using your space, review the capacity options instead of deleting them.

Your plan determines how much project disk space is included:

Plan

Included disk space

Free

2 GB

Pro

10 GB

Max

100 GB

These allowances cover your total project disk usage, not each project individually. Check Storage Overview for your current usage and capacity, and Settings → Plans and credits for your current plan.

Included storage is covered by your plan. Pay-as-you-go storage expands capacity beyond that allowance and incurs additional storage charges. Upgrading from Free to Pro or from Pro to Max increases the included allowance; enabling pay-as-you-go adds paid capacity without changing the plan’s included allowance.

Option

What it does

Plans and credits

Open this page from the Settings sidebar to review plans and their included disk space.

Enable Pay-as-you-go mode for Disk Space

Allows eligible paid plans to expand disk capacity beyond the included allowance. Review the applicable billing terms before enabling it.

The Enable Pay-as-you-go mode for Disk Space switch is at the top of the Disk Space page. Free plans need an upgrade to use this option. When usage exceeds the included capacity, pay-as-you-go cannot be turned off; reduce usage to the included allowance or lower before trying to turn it off.

Check your usage after deletion

After completing deletion, return to Disk Space and check Storage Overview to see whether your usage is within the allowance.

Once usage is back within the allowance, return to the task that was blocked and check its current status. If the disk-quota warning remains, use the troubleshooting guidance below.

If something does not work

Problem

What to do

Select projects or Delete is disabled

Wait for loading to finish. Deletion requires the Workspace Owner role, and Delete requires at least one selected project. Ask the Owner for help if your role does not allow deletion.

No results found

Clear or revise Search projects and check the project list again.

Project sizes do not load

Return to Disk Space and check again. If the problem continues, contact support rather than treating missing sizes as zero.

A project could not be deleted

Read the error and check which projects remain. Retry only projects you still intend to delete. Contact support if the problem continues.

Usage is still above the allowance

Check Storage Overview again before deleting more projects. If usage still exceeds your allowance, review other unneeded projects or your capacity options.

The disk-quota warning remains after usage is within the allowance

Contact support with the affected workspace, displayed usage and capacity, exact warning, and the action that is blocked.

When sharing screenshots with support, hide sensitive filenames, account information, and file contents that are not needed to explain the issue.
