Overview
Overview is the release and production control center for an Atoms project. Use it to review app information, publish or update the app, see which version is live, manage domains, configure marketing settings, review production resources, and create promotional assets.

Before you start
The current Overview entry is available on desktop to the project owner of a supported non-video project after at least one project version exists. To publish or update an app, you also need permission to manage public access, a publishable version, and no active project or resource blocker.
If you cannot find Overview, check these conditions first. Collaborators should ask the project owner to complete the release action. Mobile and video projects use their own workflows. If the project has no version yet, finish building and testing in App Viewer before returning to Overview.
Open Overview
- On a desktop device, open the project in Atoms.
- Confirm that you are the project owner and that the project has at least one version.
- In the project toolbar, select Overview.
Overview opens in a state that matches the project. Before the first release, it shows a launch panel and feature previews. After the project has been released, it shows the live status, release controls, marketing tools, and asset tools.
Before the first release
Before the first release, Overview shows the app name, description, and an edit control, plus a Launch your app panel. The panel has a separate Publish App action and six feature-preview tiles. These tiles explain what becomes available after release; they are not links that open their corresponding settings.

Publish or update your app
Before you publish. Remove secrets, credentials, personal information, and private test data from anything visitors can reach. Confirm the intended audience, website URL, and live-release goal. Test real payments, email, stored data, and connected services separately before sharing the app.
- Finish and test the current version in App Viewer.
- Open Overview and review the app information and website URL.
- Confirm that you have permission to manage public access and that the project has a publishable version.
- Select Publish App for a first release, or open the publish/update flow when a newer version is ready.
Standard projects
- Review the website URL and any optional publishing settings shown in the dialog.
- Select Publish and wait for the publishing result.
- Return to Overview and verify that the app status is live, the expected website URL is shown, and the release completed successfully.
Projects using Atoms Cloud
- Review the website URL and the production configuration shown in the publishing dialog.
- Review the production-data migration choice. Select the option that matches your intended production data; do not migrate or overwrite live data without confirming the goal first.
- Save all production keys before publishing. If a key cannot be saved, stop and resolve that error before retrying.
- Review the security scan. If the scan is still running, wait for it to finish. If it reports unresolved safety issues, choose Resolve All unless an authorized owner has explicitly accepted the risk of continuing.
- If publishing is blocked by credits, storage, balance, plan limits, or domain validation, resolve the stated blocker before retrying. Do not bypass a blocker by repeatedly submitting the same request.
- Select Publish only after the production choices and warnings are understood.
- Return to Overview and verify the live status, live version, website URL, and production data or service behavior that matters to your app.
Publishing makes the app live and enables its sharing tools. It does not prevent future editing: continue building in the project, then publish or update again when a newer version is ready.
After release: what Overview shows
After release, the top of Overview shows the app logo, Name, Status, and Your website URL. The status can reflect a live, paused, or unpublished state when those states apply. The website URL opens the live app when the app is available; use the edit control to manage the domain settings.

Marketing
The marketing area contains the following tools:

Assets
The Assets area lets you create or manage promotional material. Depending on the project state, it can include Commercial Promo Video, Ad Poster, and other assets. Select Manage to review completed assets or use the relevant create action.
Live version and domains
Open Live App & Domains to review App Status, Live App Version, and Connected Domains. Live App Version displays the version currently visible to users; it is not a version selector.
When a newer version is ready, use the publish/update flow to release it. The current flow publishes the latest available version. After the operation succeeds, return to Live App & Domains and confirm the displayed live version and domain status. If you need an older version or the wrong version becomes live, stop before publishing again and use the official Atoms Support route to confirm the supported recovery path.
Production Resources and Atoms Cloud
Production Resources appears in Overview only for projects using Atoms Cloud. It provides controls for:
- Production Database — manage production database resources.
- Production Storage — manage production file and object storage.
- Production Keys — manage the keys used by the production app.
If Production Resources is not shown, do not look for an Atoms Cloud connection entry inside Overview. Follow the dedicated Atoms Cloud connection workflow first, then return to Overview when the project is connected.
Recommended release workflow
- Finish and test the version in App Viewer.
- Open Overview and review the app information, audience, and website URL.
- If the app needs backend resources, connect Atoms Cloud and configure production database, storage, and keys.
- Remove exposed data, review the production warnings, and resolve any publish blockers.
- Select Publish App for the first release, or use the publish/update flow for a newer version.
- Verify the live status, Live App Version, Connected Domains, and any production data or connected services that affect visitors.
- Complete the Marketing and Assets tools as needed.
When publishing does not work
- Overview is missing: confirm the desktop, owner, supported-project, and version conditions in Before you start.
- Publish is disabled: confirm public-access permission, a publishable version, and that the project is not still working.
- Atoms Cloud publishing is blocked: save production keys, resolve security findings, wait for an active scan to finish, and resolve any credit, storage, balance, plan, or domain message.
- The result is unexpected: verify status, live version, domain, and production data before sharing the app. Record the exact message and use the official Atoms Support route if the issue persists.
