Credit compensation
Credits pay for the AI work Atoms performs, not for a guaranteed result. This guide covers credit adjustments for confirmed Atoms platform or billing issues. A credit adjustment changes your Atoms credit balance; it is different from a monetary subscription refund, which follows the Atoms Refund Policy. Eligibility and outcomes depend on the policy in effect at the time of review and the available account, task, and billing records.

When a credit adjustment may be considered
A request may be considered when Atoms records confirm a platform or billing issue that incorrectly affected the credit balance. Support reviews the available records and current policy for each request. Submitting a request does not guarantee an adjustment.
When a credit adjustment normally is not made
An inaccurate, incomplete, or unwanted AI result does not by itself show that credits were deducted incorrectly. Prompt or setting choices, device or network problems, maintenance, usage limits, and third-party outages also require Support to determine whether an Atoms platform or billing issue affected the balance.
Subscription refunds
The Atoms Refund Policy, effective January 13, 2026, governs monetary subscription refunds. It is separate from credit adjustments.
If you subscribed by mistake, the current policy requires all applicable conditions:
- For users in the EU, UK, or Turkey, submit the request within 14 days of the charge. For users elsewhere, submit it within 24 hours of the charge. In both cases, the window ends earlier if credits begin to be consumed.
- No service-call records may have been generated during the applicable refund window.
- Email [email protected] with your account and order numbers, purchase date, amount, invoice, reason for the request, and contact information.
A product bug that materially affects your interests may also support a refund request when you provide sufficient evidence. If a monetary refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment account.
Before you submit a request
- Open Settings → Plans and credits and review the current balance and available usage or transaction details.
- Identify the specific task or deduction you want reviewed, including its project or chat and approximate time.
- Check whether the task completed or a duplicate deduction appears before running it again.
- Collect the safe evidence listed below, then use the official support channel.
What to include in a request
Credit adjustment: Contact Atoms Support through Get Support. Include your account identifier or email through that support channel, the related Project or Chat link, task or transaction identifier if available, approximate time and time zone, expected and actual result, exact error text, and relevant screenshots or logs.
Subscription refund: Use the email intake in the Refund Policy and include the order information listed in the Subscription refunds section above.
Protect your information: Remove unrelated personal data and secrets from screenshots or logs. Never send a full card number, bank login, password, verification code, private key, or security code.
How requests are reviewed
Atoms reviews credit-adjustment requests against the current policy and available account, task, and billing records. Support may ask for more information, and requests about the same issue may be reviewed together. A submitted request is not a promise of an adjustment. If credits are adjusted, confirm the change in your balance or usage history. A credit adjustment is not a monetary refund. Subscription refund requests follow the Atoms Refund Policy; approved refunds are returned to the original payment account. If you disagree with the result, reply to the existing support case with new evidence instead of opening duplicate requests.
