Atoms can create browser-based projects, mobile apps, videos, and file-based outputs such as slides, documents, and reports. Selecting the right output helps Atoms understand what you want to create and gives the Agents the appropriate starting point.

This guide explains what each output is best for and how to select it. The steps below use the signed-in desktop homepage.

What an output type is

An output type helps define what Atoms will create for you. For example, you can choose to create a Web project, App, Video, slide deck, or document. Choose the output type based on what you want to produce, where it will be used, and how people will view or interact with it.

Output types are separate from the settings that control how Atoms completes your request. Build and Goal, along with Team Mode, Deep Research, and Race Mode, affect how the Agents plan and work, but they do not change the format of the final output. For example, enabling Race Mode will not turn a Web project into an App or slide deck.

The language model you select is also separate from the output type. It changes which model helps process your request, not the type of result Atoms creates.

Choose the right output

Choose the output that matches what you want Atoms to create:

• Web — A project that people open and use in a web browser. This includes websites, landing pages, dashboards, browser-based tools, prototypes, and games. Web is selected by default.
• App — A project designed specifically for a mobile app experience, with phone-sized screens, app navigation, and mobile-style interactions.
• Video — A generated video rather than an interactive project. Open + → Video to select it, if Video is available on your account.
• Slides, documents, and reports — A file-based result that you can read, present, or share. There is no separate output selector—just tell Atoms what you want in your prompt, such as “Create a presentation” or “Write a report.”

Web or App?

If people will use your project in a browser, choose Web. If you want a mobile app experience, choose App. Choose Web if your project needs Deep Research. Deep Research is unavailable in App.

If you choose Video, Atoms will automatically turn off:

• Race Mode.
• Deep Research.
• Atoms Cloud.
• any selected Theme.

A landing page, dashboard, prototype, or browser game is still a Web output—they are different kinds of Web projects, not separate output types.

Choose Web or App before starting

The homepage shows the Web/App selector beneath the new-project composer. Choose the project type before you send the first request.

1. Open the signed-in Atoms homepage on desktop.
2. Find Web and App beneath the composer. Web is selected by default.
3. Select Web for a result that people will open in a browser, or App for a phone-first mobile app project.
4. Describe the purpose, intended users, main screens, and essential actions in the composer.
5. To add reference material, select +, select Attachments, and add the supported files you want Atoms to use.
6. Send the request and review the result in the project.

Output availability can vary by account, workspace, device, or rollout. Use the controls shown in your current composer as the source of truth. Selecting a different build mode, workflow mode, or language model does not convert an existing project to another output type.

Create a Video

Choose Video when the result itself should be a generated video rather than a Web or App project. Video appears in the homepage + menu when it is available to your account.

1. Open the signed-in Atoms homepage and select + in the composer.
2. Select Video. The menu also shows the video model currently used by Atoms.
3. Add supported reference images or files if they are important to the result.
4. Describe the subject, action, setting, visual style, camera framing or movement, and the orientation you need.
5. Keep Smart selected to let Atoms choose the video settings, or open Smart and choose from the ratio, resolution, and duration options currently shown.
6. Send the request, then play and review the generated result before downloading or sharing it.

The available model, settings, duration, and plan requirements can change. Use the values shown in the live Video controls. If Video is disabled or an upgrade message appears, follow the action shown in Atoms or continue with another available output.

Open the + menu and select Video.

Choose Smart or open the Video settings.

Ask for slides, documents, or reports

Slides, documents, and reports do not have their own output selector on the current homepage, you can leave Web selected. Request them directly in the normal composer. Start by naming the deliverable, so Atoms does not mistake the request for a website or mobile app.

1. Open Home and use the normal composer. You do not need a separate output selector for file-based work.
2. State whether you need slides, a document, a brief, or a report.
3. Add the purpose, audience, expected length, required sections, and preferred tone.
4. Select + and Attachments to add source material that Atoms should use.
5. Send the request and review the generated content and files in the project.

When a specific file format matters, include it in the request and confirm the format that Atoms provides before you share the result. Preview and download controls can vary by file type and account.

Open Attachments to upload files or a folder.

If you chose the wrong output

Before sending the request: Select the correct Web or App option. If Video is selected, select the × on the Video label to leave Video mode, then choose Web or App.

After a Web or App project has started: Return to Home, choose the correct output, and start a new project. Reuse the original request and add the same reference material. The existing project remains unchanged.

If Atoms creates the wrong kind of file-based result: Clarify the required deliverable, audience, structure, and file format in the project. If the project itself began as the wrong Web or App type, start a new project instead.

If the output selector is missing: Make sure you are on the signed-in desktop homepage and leave any selected Video or specialized mode. Available outputs can vary by account, workspace, device, and rollout, so use the options currently shown in the composer.
