Guide to subscription auto-renewals, plan upgrades, downgrades, and data storage limits
Learn how to manage your subscription, switch plans, understand auto-renewal policies, and handle data storage during upgrades or downgrades.
Auto-Renewal Policy
Both Pro and Max plans renew automatically on a monthly basis, unless you actively downgrade before the start of your next billing cycle.
You can view your current plan, remaining credits, and billing history anytime via Settings → Plans and Billing or the Pricing → Payment page.
Canceling or Managing Your Subscription
You can cancel your paid subscription anytime by downgrading to the Free plan. The downgrade will take effect on the first day after your current billing cycle ends.
2 Ways to Manage Your Plan
- Via Account Settings:
- Open the main menu on the left sidebar.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Select the Plans and Billing tab to view your current subscription, update payment methods, or change your plan.
- Via the Pricing Page:
- Click Pricing in the top-left navigation bar.
- Manage, upgrade, or downgrade your active plan on the Payment page.
Changing Plans (Upgrades & Downgrades)
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time:
Upgrading Your Plan
- Immediate Effect: Upgrades take effect immediately after successful payment.
- Billing Schedule: Your billing cycle date is not reset; it continues on the original schedule.
- Prorated Cost: You only pay the price difference for the remainder of the billing period.
- Example: If you are on a $20 plan with 20 days left and upgrade to a $100 plan, you only pay the $80 difference to receive immediate access to $100 plan features.
Downgrading Your Plan
- End-of-Cycle Effect: Downgrades take effect after your current billing cycle ends. You maintain your current plan benefits until the end of the term.
- Refund Policy: No refunds are issued for downgrades.
- Credit Rollover: Unused credits roll over to the next month once (they do not accumulate indefinitely).
Impact on Your Data & Disk Storage
If downgrading or upgrading alters your available disk storage limit (e.g., from 40GB on Max to 10GB on Pro or 2GB on Free), the system will send you a reminder to back up or delete project files. This ensures your project files remain safe and prevents any interruption to your daily work.
