Turn your new website into a traffic magnet with our SEO specialist

Updated this week

What is SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving your website to appear higher in search results on Google, Bing, and other search engines. It isn't just about keywords; it's about making your site easier for search engines to understand and more valuable for real people to read.

By optimizing your content, you increase the likelihood that potential customers will find you organically, driving free, high-quality traffic to your business without paying for ads.

Meet Sarah, SEO Specialist at Atoms. She is here to help you generate optimized content, get your site indexed by Google, and drive more traffic to your business.

How Sarah Helps You Get Indexed

Google loves content that is clear, relevant, and well-structured. Sarah is designed to generate exactly this type of content.

By creating detailed articles that cover your topic in depth, Sarah significantly increases the chances of Google "crawling" and "indexing" your pages automatically.

Once you have finished building your website, you can ask Sarah to generate SEO content for you.

There are two simple ways to activate this feature during the building process.

You do not need to navigate to a separate settings menu. You can trigger Sarah directly within your chat or prompt using one of the following methods:

  1. The Direct Request (@Sarah) Simply tag @Sarah in your prompt or request.

Example: "Build a landing page for my bakery and send it to @Sarah for review."

  2. The Keyword Method (SEO) Explicitly mention that you need SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in your prompt. Sarah recognizes this keyword and will automatically queue a scan once the build is complete.

Example: "Create a portfolio site for a photographer. I need it optimized for SEO."

Important: Team Mode Required

Sarah is exclusively available in Team Mode. She cannot be activated in personal or standard chat modes.

  • Starting a new project? Toggle Team Mode on during the first step of setup.

  • Already in a chat? If you didn't start in Team Mode, you must switch to it manually using the toggle located in the chat box interface before you can request Sarah.

Manual Indexing: Speeding Up the Process

While Sarah handles the content quality, Google sometimes takes days or even weeks to discover new pages on its own. If you want to ensure your new articles appear in search results immediately, you can manually request indexing.

Here is a guide on how to do it manually using Google Search Console:

  1. Set up Google Search Console: If you haven't already, verify your website ownership at search.google.com.

  2. Use the URL Inspection Tool: At the top of the Search Console dashboard, you will see a search bar. Paste the exact URL of your new article there and hit Enter.

  3. Request Indexing: Google will check if the page is on its radar. If it says "URL is not on Google," simply click the "Request Indexing" button.

  4. Wait for Confirmation: This signals Google's priority queue to crawl your page. It usually appears in search results within a few hours to a day.
