When you're checking this article, I believe that you've walked a long way in building. Now it's time for the next step in your project: improving your website's SEO (Search Engine Optimization). It helps to increase your chance of being seen by more potential clients and, eventually, you can make more profits.
Get your site ready
First, you need to publish your website built on Atoms. And you can partly modify your domain when you publish it.
Make sure your website is fully functional, and that navigation between pages is complete, e.g., from the homepage to the login page.
Once you've published your project, you can further tell Agents that:
Here is my domain: (URL of your site)
Help me boost my SEO and sitemap.xml. I want my website to be indexed by Google.
The Atoms Agent will help you prepare everything you need for SEO.
Submit your website to Google Search Console
After Atoms Agents have finished all the coding work, you need to submit your website to Google, which increases your chances of being indexed by Google. Atoms Agents will also guide you through all the crucial steps.
Then go to Google Search Console. If you don't have a GSC account yet, you need to register for it. Click the URL prefix on the right side, and paste your URL in it.
You can choose any verification method, and we recommend the HTML Tag method.
We now tell Atoms Agents: "Add this verification tag in code."
Help me add an HTML Tag, and the requirement is:
Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's homepage. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section.
Add:(Your verification code from GSC)
Wait for another 5-10 minutes after you add the verification code. Go back to GSC, click Verify. If the verification succeeded, it will show that "Ownership auto verified."
You can now manage your website on GSC, and it takes time for Google to update the data.
Submit Sitemap.xml
After you've told Atoms Agents, "Add this verification tag", and your ownership is auto verified on GSC, you need to download the Sitemap.xml file in Atoms.
After you download the file from Atoms, upload it to GSC, and type sitemap.xml under Add a new sitemap.
Now you can submit it!
Most of the time, it takes 1-7 days for Google to index your site. You can check the result by searching for your own website!
