Cloud & AI Wallet

The Cloud & AI Wallet is where you pay for your app’s Cloud and AI usage.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What is the Cloud & AI Wallet?

The Cloud & AI Wallet is used to manage balances for Cloud (compute, storage, network) and AI (model usage, agents, etc.).

There are three types of balances:

  • Cloud & AI (Wallet Balance): Prepaid amount to pay for the usage of Cloud and AI.

  • Cloud: Your remaining free quota for Cloud usage.

  • AI: Your remaining free quota for AI usage.

How do I top up the Cloud & AI Wallet?

  1. Click Top Up on the Cloud & AI page.

  2. Select an amount (preset options or custom input between $10 and $1,000).

  3. Choose a payment method (credit/debit card, Amazon Pay, Alipay, etc.) and confirm.

  4. Once payment succeeds, your balance updates immediately. If it fails, try another payment method.

When is the AI Wallet used?

The AI Wallet is used in both preview and production for AI capabilities in your applications (e.g., text, image, and video generation). Once your free AI quota ($1) is exhausted, you will need to top up the Cloud & AI Wallet to continue using these capabilities.

How do I set balance alerts and monthly limits?

Access in the top-right corner of the Cloud & AI page.

  • Balance Alerts:

Receive email or in-app notifications when your balance drops below a set threshold. You can enable it with a default threshold (typically $5) or customize it.

  • Monthly Limit:

Set a cap on total monthly spending from your wallet (e.g., default $500).

This limit applies to combined Cloud & AI usage.

For example, with a $100 limit, Cloud $40 + AI $60 will trigger it.

When the limit is reached, you can choose:

    • Pause all apps (default): Stops all Cloud and AI-related applications.

    • Notify only: Sends alerts without pausing services.

If you set a new limit below your current usage, it will take effect immediately and may pause your apps.

Note:

Actual monthly charges may slightly exceed the set limit because:

  • Usage is billed after consumption.

  • Cloud storage is billed hourly, so already accrued costs may still be charged after suspension. This is expected due to:

    • Postpaid billing: Usage is charged after consumption, so already incurred usage will still be billed.

    • Hourly storage billing: Storage costs are charged hourly; usage generated before suspension will still be billed.

    • Trigger timing: The limit is enforced only after reaching or exceeding the threshold, so totals may slightly exceed it.

  • The monthly limit is designed to control risk and prevent unlimited spending, not to enforce a hard stop.

How can I view Cloud and AI usage?

Go to the Usage tab in the Cloud & AI Wallet:

  • View AI Usage and Cloud Usage summaries

(Cloud is further broken down into Compute, Storage, Network, and Other).

  • See usage by project, including:

    • AI usage

    • Cloud usage

    • Open Chat entry for quick access to adjust configurations or traffic

Usage data is updated daily (UTC 0:00), helping you identify high-cost projects and optimize accordingly.

What can I see in Transactions?

The Transactions tab shows money flow only (not detailed usage charges).

Types include:

  • Manual Top-up

  • Auto Top-up

  • Credit granted (platform credits)

  • Refunds/adjustments

Click any record to view details for reconciliation or confirmation.

What payment methods are supported?

You can add and manage payment methods in Manage Billing, Top Up, or Auto Top-up flows, including:

  • Credit/debit cards

  • Amazon Pay

  • Alipay

Once added, they are available for both manual and automatic top-ups.

Can Free users top up the wallet?

No. Free users must upgrade to Pro or Max before they can top up.

The Cloud & AI Wallet page will guide you to upgrade. After upgrading, top-up, auto top-up, and payment management become available immediately.

Why did my application suddenly stop?

Most likely, both your wallet balance and free quotas have been used up.

Check your balance in the Cloud & AI Wallet. Please enable Auto top-up or Balance Alerts to avoid service interruptions.

Are charges for Cloud or AI? How do I identify the project?

In the Usage tab, you can view usage by project and distinguish between Cloud and AI costs. The Transactions tab only shows financial movements (top-ups, refunds, credits), not detailed usage charges.
