Quick Start

A comprehensive guide to building with Atoms, including starting, editing, connecting integrations, publishing, and sharing.

Updated this week

Starting

Sometimes you need an entire team to do complex tasks, or you just need a single professional. You can also choose between different modes, including Team Mode, Engineer Mode, Race Mode, and Deep Research Mode.

Additionally, you can choose different LLMs based on your needs. Switch LLMs on the right side of the input box.

There are three ways to get started.

  1. Start with your raw prompt, or polish it first to save credits.

  2. Start by remixing an existing project in our App World.

  3. Start by clicking the quick-access buttons on the homepage to build simple "Slides", "Blog", and "Link Hub".

Editing

Preview, fix bugs, edit code, modify visual elements, and add references —all in one place.

  1. Preview: View your work in both mobile and PC modes.

  2. Change visual elements: Edit your visual elements on the App Viewer page, either manually adjusting them or discussing your expectations with agents.

  3. Add reference: Do you have a reference of inspiration in mind? Then upload it for agents as a reference.

  4. Fix bugs: Agents will fix your bugs when you click Fix Bug.

You can refer to App Viewer for more instructions.

Connecting integrations

When Atoms has prepared the frontend for you, you can integrate Atoms with Supabase to store data, manage secrets, and add more backend logic. This helps you send welcome emails to your target users, leverage AI services, process online payments, and more.

Here are the basic steps:

  1. Step 1: Find the Supabase tab in the top-right corner.

  2. Step 2: Sign in to your Supabase account via the pop-up window. If you don't have one, sign up for it.

  3. Step 3: After signing in, click "Authorize Atoms."

  4. Step 4: Either select an existing Supabase project from the list or click 'Add New One' to create a new organization instantly.

Now you are integrated with Supabase!

(If you need help, the Atoms Assistant is available to walk you through connecting Supabase to Atoms.)

For more details, see Supabase Connect. We've prepared detailed instructions about user authentication, data storage, and edge functions.

Publishing

Congratulations, you are all set!

Publish your project by clicking the Publish button in the top-right corner.

Share

Finally, you can share how you build with Atoms Agents in our App World or on social media by clicking the Share button in the top-right corner.

You are now ready to explore more ways to collaborate with AI agents. We can't wait to see what you create!
